Beware...

Recently, in the sleepy town of Nibong Tebal, a new and dangerous disease has emerged, adding to the worries brought along by the report of Malaysia's first A(H1N1) flu case today.

Nothing has been reported about this disease yet. It is no less lethal, but most are still not aware of it until they are infected themselves, resulting in unhappy incidents and maybe, accidents.

It has no name. Medical experts probably wouldn't have given this new yet powerful virus a long and complicated scientific name.

Therefore, as a responsible citizen of Malaysia and Nibong Tebal, I feel that the onus of naming this epidemic is on my shoulders. Since I am not even a student of Science, I will instead use layman term to refer to this disease throughout this article.

Hence, I shall name this disease... the Big Head.

A slight introduction to this new enemy of mankind is a must. It has no obvious symptoms; life goes on as usual. The infected will not feel any kind of pain of any kind. Contrary to its comical name, the size of the Infected's skull is not affected at all in any way. In other ways, you are infected by it without feeling sick. The best part of it? It is contagious.

Big Head is not a very intimating pair of syllables; it does not create terror. It might even sounded funny and clownish. But watch out people, see what this virus can do, and then, decide whether it should be laughed at or taken seriously.

It makes you careless and sloppy. You don't know where you put your hand phone, and you spend hours searching for it until it rings in your pocket. You are not stupid; you have just been infected.

It makes you forget dates and time, until you make people angry because your lateness disrupts their plans. Sometimes, they are not so angry, but in the course of explaining the entire plan for the N-th time, they blew themselves up, with you staring and wondering what it is all about. *O.O-like expression*

Ok, fine. These are just small matters, the Infected might argue. Forgiveness is given, everything forgotten.

But suddenly, there is something. You and your friends are going out for supper tomorrow, and then this virus attacked. You left your keys in your car and amazing and mysteriously locked the car! Yes baby, you locked the car without their keys. Bravo! You have just been infected.
