Updates

This is something you probably have not done before. But we did.

A phone call from my parents interrupted our conversation. They were stranded on the highway with virtually no fuel. And they needed a little bit of 'oily' help from us. Danny and Hua Sheng were quick to respond, with Danny even offering his car to drive us to the rescue. (thanks buddy, will always remember that =.=)

We visited the local Caltex station and filled a bottle-full of petrol. We wanted to get a much larger container but the cashier wasn't very helpful. The bottle would have to do then. On the car, my parents called me to give us their coordinates. The line was rather busy and we can only guess what they're trying to tell us. In the end we figured out that they are somewhere near the Jawi toll station. Or so we thought.

Danny parked in the Jawi station and we got down, me holding the 'Saviour'. We walked onto the highway but my parents were no where in sight. So we walked down the road a little further. And we walked. And walked.

They say people don't always do this. I guess it's right. =.=

It hit us then, that my parents were somewhere rather far. My two friends were rather excited, saying that neither of them had ever attempted this. Well that makes it the 3 of us. It was dangerous all right, but nerve-pricking as well! Some cars sounded their horns at us while speeding through. The yellow lights added to the atmosphere, constructing a virtual imagination in our heads.

We cleared the bridge leading to KL and behold, my parents car blinked back at us, a good 500metres away. Upon reaching them, Dad and Mum looked enormously relieved and immediately the 'Saviour' went into good use. The car got off and it's a happy ending for all of us, thanks to Danny and Hua Sheng's quick action.

That's what friends are for, isn't it?
