me: just watched a movie called Her. samantha reminded me of you.

me: the kind of things she said... samantha was intelligent and sensitive. and she's also quite sadistic, being so involved with the guy and another 600+ others.

E: i'm not involved with 600+ guys.

me: the film must have struck a chord with you. or several.

E: i cried at the scene when he was having tea with his wife and she said that he wanted a wife but he couldn't handle real emotions.

me: a) you can't handle a real guy. b) you love being in love. c) you're emotionally damaged. d) you need an OS.

E: all of the above.

me: i hope there are not many girls like you out there. it's so natural to love a girl like samantha and you. but you're all roses with thorns. y'all have an organic idea of love, it changes from time to time. it may be just that you needed to get your rocks off, at the risk of generalising and over-simplifying.
