on aging fears

J: looking at personalities like yours i'm afraid of aging. a baby can be notorious and puke and spit on the floor, yet people still find him cute and are willing to hold him in their arms. old people, especially poor ones, are not treated like that. people wrinkle their noses and frown hard at an old person struggling to be clean or express himself. i'm afraid that one day i will not be able to keep up with you guys. you guys don't know how to be kind.
