Sedim

Went to Sedim, Kedah yesterday.

It was a nice place with water and greenery. I went with my family and Kae Min's family, along with Jerry and his little brother.

I was feeling quite adventurous that day. I tried many things that for the normal me, I would not have think of. Only thing that I did not try out was:

These daredevils jumped from the bridge, as showed in the series of pictures, into the water. It was a long jump, and many lined up to do just that. I suppose peer pressure is one great factor that pushes youngsters nowadays =).

Ironically, many of us were also quite daring that day. We did things that had our parents in suspense, but it was really fun.

The current was extremely strong and dangerous at Sedim. If you ever fell into the water, the best one can do is to let the current carry you. Fighting against it is futile and will only tire you out, or worse, drown. There is another thing to be considered too. Beneath the water many rocks of various shapes lie. Some of them are enormous, some sharp and jagged. We returned home with our legs considerably red and scary.

Remember when I say suspense? Here it is.

Even Kae Min took his shot.

A long 'man rope' was required to haul her across!

Steamed? =)

Qi Kang a.k.a kanggo.

We had a great time that day. It is always fun to hang out at natural places with friends, and this was when Kae Min was about to leave for Kampar. Hopefully, this will remain as our sweet memory.
