916: Where are YOU?

It’s 17th of September.

The change that I expected didn’t come. Not in my way. I expected Anwar to stride into

Putrajaya and grab power. Lame…

In my opinion, there are generally 2 main streams of thoughts sprouting from this 916 incident. One of such would be denying all possibilities that the event will take place. The other one would be a cauldron full of bubbling hopefuls. Or so I thought.

One thing is sure though. Whether or not the power transition takes place, the people’s hearts have changed. There is no doubt about that. Who cares if it happens today or tomorrow? The people are in a rebellious trend, or a tendency, more than ever in 50 years.

Sure, many will be laughing. They will say things like ‘where’s your 916’. But those are the ones who would be left out in the current situation. Most probably, they will be wiped out. By what? Police? ISA? None of the mentioned. Instead, they will face the wrath of the people. They will have the people to answer to. And at that time, no far-fetched tales or whatsoever. If you can’t give a logical reason, shut up and accept the critics. Don’t crack jokes, as we are certainly sick of them. Don’t try anything funny; we’re watching.

916? 1016? Who cares? Nothing is absolute. But absolute power corrupts absolutely.
