Lompat Si Katak

In a stunning move today, former premier Dr M has announced from his hometown in Kedah that he has left UMNO, where he has been a member since 1946. He urged the other members to emulate him in order to put some pressure on the PM.

I am quite shock to see our dear Tun take such a drastic action. After all, he has been a member of the United Malays National Organization for 62 years. Alas, in his quest to take down the present PM, he has chosen to leave his party.

This shows that there is much unrest and chaos in the ruling coalition of UMNO-MCA-MIC. This recent move by Dr M will certainly focused all eyes on the PM, waiting to see how will Pak Lah react to this. The PM expressed his shock, but he will not meet Dr M in person to persuade the former PM to change his mind.

Since the 2008 GE, the papers have been filled with many news, some good while some are simply their old self. It seemed that our country is entering into a new age. Hopefully, we will see changes where the rakyat is the boss and the government the rakyat's servant.
